YES!!! We think this is the ideal time to start your career as a Home Inspector. As the Real Estate Market switches from a Sellers market to a Buyers market you can be going through the Home Inspector School, passing the state Home Inspector Test, and getting your business set up. All of these things take time, but you'll be ready when the market switches to a Buyers market, which is when the Home Inspection industry flourishes.
After enrollment and payment of the deposit for the home inspector school we will contact you and let you know what inspections we have scheduled. If the inspections fit into your schedule then you and our instructor will attend the inspection with our inspector. On our field training you typically get 1-on-1 training with the instructor while at the property.
One of the great things about become a Home Inspector is the relatively low start up costs. A basic tool set up is something we go over with our students that enroll in our school, but we've also provided this blog that covers some of the basic tools and this page of additional info and links to each of the tools we purchase for our inspectors.
