Robbie Smith, the owner, and Instructor of Top Notch Home Inspection & Home Inspector School has been passionate about the housing industry for over 20 years.

Robbie Smith, the owner, and Instructor of Top Notch Home Inspection & Home Inspector School has been passionate about the housing industry for over 20 years. Specifically the structural integrity and the ongoing maintenance of homes. Before moving to Washington, Robbie was inspecting and repairing commercial & residential properties in Southern California for 13 years. To continue to build on his knowledge and passion for homes he added Home Inspection, Structural Pest Inspector, and General Contractor to his resume. To continue to build on that knowledge Robbie is an active member of InterNachi, the world's largest inspection trade association. Robbie's goal for his company is for his inspectors to give a professional, unbiased opinion of the home helping people to make a sound decision whether they are buying a home, selling a home, or maintaining a home they currently have. His goals as an InterNachi Mentor is to help, guide, coach, and instruct each of his students so they can achieve success as a new home inspector.

Lindsey Smith, an expert in office management and accounting, is our Business Manager and wife of Robbie Smith. She was born and raised in Southern California.

She was born and raised in Southern California, but after marrying and starting a family she moved to Lewis County to seek out new opportunities and raise her kids in a small community. After receiving her certificate as a Certified Bookkeeper, she attended Centralia College graduating with her Associates degree in Accounting, and is continuing to add to her list of achievements by studying for her Enrolled Agents license. After working for 6 years for a local company with annual revenue over 25 million and over 90 employees, she has joined the team at Top Notch Home Inspections & Home Inspector school to assist the growth and success of the company.

Jay Cook, our lead Washington Home Inspector, is a native Lewis County resident and a dedicated employee. His personalized attention to customer service prove that he is an asset to Top Notch.

Jay Cook, our lead Home Inspector, is a native Lewis County resident and a dedicated employee. After joining the team at Top Notch as an Inspectors Assistant in 2019 he worked his way up to Lead Inspector after attending one of our classes and passing the NHIE Exam. He continues to learn by receiving his Structural Pest Inspection (SPI) license and becoming an InterNachi Certified Professional Inspector (CPI). Jay enjoys being a home inspector and helping home buyers and homeowners make educated decisions about their homes. His personalized attention to customer service and knowledgeable answers to clients questions prove that he is an asset to Top Notch.

Lincoln Smith, is a past student, and works as an assistant to our inspectors. His attendance at inspections is a big reason why we have been able to achieve efficiency on-site.
