Inspection methods and tools
Inspection methods and tools are one of the main building blocks of Home Inspections training. Home inspectors use a variety of tools to help them identify problems with a property. These tools can include ladders, flashlights, moisture meters, and more. Home inspectors also use different methods to inspect different parts of the property. For example, they may use a different method to inspect the foundation than they would use to inspect the roof.
Home inspectors must be able to properly use all of the tools and methods at their disposal in order to provide accurate and reliable inspections. Home Inspector School will teach you how to use all of the different tools and methods properly so that you can thoroughly inspect any property. Find out what tools we use in our business by visiting our Home Inspector Tool Page.
Building code requirements
Building code requirements are another important part of Home Inspector training in Washington. Home inspectors are taught the building code requirements for the area in which they will be conducting inspections. This way, they can properly identify any code violations that may exist on a property.
Ethics and professional conduct
Ethics and professional conduct are important topics that all home inspectors must be familiar with. Home inspectors must adhere to a strict code of ethics in order to maintain their professional license. This code of ethics governs everything from the way home inspectors interact with clients to the way they conduct themselves during an inspection.
Home Inspector School will teach you the code of ethics for home inspectors in the state of Washington. You will learn about the different ways that you can violate this code of ethics and the disciplinary actions that may be taken against you if you do violate it.
